On June 9, the Banking and Insurance Superintendency (SBS, in Spanish) adopted Resolution No. 1546-2020 modifying the Accounting Manual for Financial Companies. The amendments include a new requirement to send in a report on rescheduled loans granted in the context of the National Emergency.

Likewise, the SBS excluded from the calculation of provision rates – as determined in the Regulation for the Administration of the Risk of Over-Indebtedness of Retail Debtors – those who are covered by the guarantee of the REACTIVA PERU Program and the Business Support Fund for MYPE (FAE-MYPE), in cases of counterparty credit replacement.
