The Executive branch published a resolution containing a set of rules applicable to citizens in order to tackle COVID-19 on June 3 in the Official Gazette. Apart from highlighting the relevance of general hygiene standards, the document establishes a series of obligations for workers and employers in the workplace. The measure is already in force.

The resolution covers facemasks and hand washing routines, among others, as basic behaviors to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As for the workplace, employees are asked to consume food and beverages in specially designated areas while employers, are required to keep records of employees with chronic conditions and adjust work shifts to avoid crowding.
