On January 17, the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP, for its acronym in Spanish), updated the regulatory framework for the Tax on Credits and Debits (General Resolution 2111). The measure is already in force.

In particular, General Resolution 4665, orders tax settlement and/or collection agents to electronically transfer the amounts received according to the procedure defined in Resolution 1778 regulating the electronic payment of tax obligations.

The new resolution also stipulates that the receipt of payments prior to its entry into force must be made by February 5 and included in tax reports filed for the January 2020 fiscal period.
