On September 7, The Ministry of Foreign Trade (Mincetur), via Resolution No. 182-2020-MINCETUR, appointed customs agents to be the first operators of the Information Module on Foreign Trade Logistics Services (MISLO, for its acronym in Spanish).

The regulations stipulate that, as of September 15, customs agents must send Mincetur information about their services including description, prices and lists. The rest of the logistics operators will be gradually incorporated over time.

The Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Rocío Barrios, explained that the implementation of the MISLO will be carried out depending on the number of companies by type of operator, the complexity of their rates and the number of services provided. This will be announced gradually through ministerial resolutions.

Barrios pointed out that the next operators due to send this information to Mincetur are international road freight transport companies, customs warehouses providing public services, and shipping lines, as well as others listed in the Foreign Trade Facilitation Law.
