The Brazilian Association of Intensive Care Medicine (AMIB for its acronym in Portuguese) will host the 24th Brazilian Congress on Intensive Care Medicine (CBMI for its acronym in Portuguese) in Fortaleza in November. The meeting will bring together more than 200 national and international experts to discuss intensive care policies and treatments at global level.

The agenda for the event, ending on November 9, is very broad and includes aspects such as: palliative care, oncology intensive care, acute heart disease, pediatric intensive care, neurological intensive care, and liver failure, among others.

Ciro Leite Mendes, president of AMIB, pointed out that the “CBMI has world-class professionals who offer our congress attendees the highest scientific levels of expertise. This year will be even more ambitious thanks to a complete agenda and several new features”.
