The National Economy and Investment Committee of the Senate met this morning, and its authorities were elected: Silvia Elías de Perez (UCR) was elected as president of the National Economy and Investment Commission and José Ojeda (PJ) as vice president.

The members of the committee decided to send to the Committee’s advisors the analysis of the bills of Capital Markets and “Compre Argentino”. The next meeting it is scheduled for Wednesday the 14th at 10.00 hs.

It was also proposed to invite authorities of the Executive Branch and the National Securities Commission (CNV) to deepen the analysis of the articles. The objective is to broaden the debate but to do it as soon as possible.

It should be noted that both bills have already been passed in the Chamber of Deputies and are now ready to be analyzed by the Senate.
