On November 17, the Financial Superintendency of Colombia presented a draft external circular to create a proforma on lending rates by type of credit. Comments may be sent until November 30 via e-mail to [email protected].
The objective of the initiative is to develop a structure for capturing information on lending rates. In this way, the Superintendency seeks to know the behavior of the different types of credit, as well as the number and amount of loans disbursed by type of person, gender, company size and terms.
For this purpose, the draft circular proposes to create a proforma “Lending rates by type of credit”. Thus, in order to ensure the correct reporting of the information in the proforma referred to in the circular, the recipient entities must perform mandatory tests between February 28 and March 4, 2022 with the information corresponding to the cut-off date of February 4, 2022.
