On February 3, the National Telecommunications Entity (ENACOM, in Spanish) established, through Resolution 28/2021, that Licensees of ICT Services for Subscription Broadcasting through physical or radioelectric link (SRSVFR, in Spanish) and Fixed Telephony (STF, in Spanish) in all its variants and / or modalities, together with those of Subscription broadcasting audiovisual communication services through satellite link (DTH), which have less than one hundred thousand total accesses, may increase the value of their retail prices by up to seven percent for the month of February 2021.

This is the second authorized increase following the freeze on prices for mobile communications services, fixed telephony, internet and subscription TV, and that were declared public services. The first had been 5%.
