On October 16, the Central Bank published Communication A7138 updating the provisions of Communication A7123 on exchange restrictions and the requirements for access to the foreign exchange market for imports.

The new communication includes a list of operations allowed to charge for the export of goods and services in foreign currency, as well as certain issues of debt securities in foreign currency with a term greater than one year. As for imports, it details requirements for paying for the import of goods whose customs entry registration is pending.
