On October 16, the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and Pension Funds (SBS, in Spanish), issued Multiple Office No. 29473-2020-SBS, announcing that all information on market behavior management must be sent to the Superintendency exclusively in electronic format using the “Market Behavior Management Reports” application. The SBS foresees using the application to standardize and organize reporting by simplifying the requirements for documentation. It should be noted that the failure to submit a management report will be considered “regulatory non-compliance”.

The application will be tested as part of a pilot phase from October 19 to November 13, enabling the application to be accessed for those interested in knowing how it works. Any information submitted during the pilot period will be deleted when the deadline expires.
