On June 12, the Ministry of Economy announced that the government was extending the deadline for the creditors to accept the debt offer to June 19. The Invitation Period was thus also extended and the results will now be announced on June 22. This means that the dates for its execution, entry into force and settlement are now scheduled for June 25.

The Ministry chaired by Martin Guzman said that “by proactively holding discussions with different groups of investors,” Argentina “is advancing with possible adjustments to the Invitation and has received comments from investors and suggestions about different ways to improve collection.” 

Guzman pointed out that the government is still analyzing these suggestions, while “preserving its debt sustainability goals”.
