Official Gazette: CNV Updates Provisions on Transactions in Negotiable Securities to be Settled in Foreign Currency

On May 26, the National Securities Commission (CNV) issued General Resolution 841/2020, which establishes that for transactions in negotiable securities to be settled in foreign currency, or to transfer these bonds to depositary entities abroad, a minimum period of five working days is required for such securities to be held in the portfolio. The measure is already in force.

The CNV also specified that compliance with the minimum holding period of the securities must be verified by the Settlement and Clearing Agents and the Trading Agents.
