On May 22 , the Executive Branch, through the Ministry of Economy, extended the renegotiation deadline for Argentine foreign law debt until June 2. The measure was made official by Resolution 243/2020.

The Ministry stated that the Settlement Date for the Exchange Offer will expire on June 8, 2020. Access the bonds covered by this decision here.

In other news, the National Securities Commission (CNV, in Spanish) published General Resolution 839/2020 setting up a solidarity fund to be implemented through a financial trust. The idea is to directly or indirectly assist provinces and municipalities with their financing needs. This Provincial Assistance Financial Solidarity Trust will be part of a Solidarity Trust Program.
