On February 21, Indecopi’s Supervision and Control Office (GSF, for its acronym in Spanish) launched the annual oversight plan for 2020. This is about planning the oversight strategy to eliminate and reduce the occurrence of offending behaviors among economic agents. The provisions of the plan will be implemented over the coming months.

The plan is to be implemented within the framework of oversight powers over certain economic activities including Trade and Industry, Transport, Education, Finance and Insurance, Real Estate and Construction; and Accommodation, Restaurants and Travel Agencies.

The GSF is also planning a strategy to dissuade rule-breaking detected among economic agents with some 2000 high-impact actions at national level, in coordination with State entities, in sectors sensitive for the population.
