On January 23, a group of deputies from the ruling party met in the Lower House with the Deputy Chief of Staff Cecilia Todesca, and Finance Ministry officials, and agreed to debate the bill on the Sustainability Management of the External Public Debt on Wednesday, January 29. The government expects the bill to be discussed in committee next Tuesday, in the presence of Finance Minister Martin Guzman, with a view to the Chamber passing it on Thursday, January 30.

It should also be noted that President Alberto Fernandez, passed Decree 98/2020 prior to his trip to Israel, extending the call for extraordinary sessions to enable Congress to discuss this bill.
