On Decmber 2e7, the National Securities Commission (CNV) opened two public consultations regarding activity in the capital markets. The new measures aim to update the procedures for authorizing public transferable securities offerings and virtual or remote assemblies of issuers in the public offering.

Through General Resolution 826/2019, CNV has put a draft resolution up for consideration to modify the framework regulating the authorization procedures for the public offering of transferable securities. Click here to read CNV’s proposal.

The aim is to “simplify the authorization processes for public offers so that issuers can take advantage of the opportunities and benefits created at the most favorable moments for the market, and be able to adapt to the mechanisms required to manage the various procedures under the charge of the agency”. Opinions and comments on the consultation may be sent to the CNV until January 10, using this form.

Furthermore, General Resolution 824/2019 opens a public consultation process for a Regulatory Impact Analysis to evaluate alternatives for regulating Virtual Assemblies of Issuers for Public Offerings.
