ARGENTINA

On September 15, the Executive Branch submitted the Budget 2022 to the Chamber of Deputies.

In a tense atmosphere caused by the decision of several government officials to offer their resignation to the President, the Executive Branch submitted the Budget 2022 to Congress. The bill foresees a 4% growth of the GDP, an inflation of 33% and a dollar of 131 pesos. On the other hand, 1.8 GDP points will be used in temporary advances from the Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA) to finance the deficit estimated at 3.3%.

The Budget 2022 bill is expected to be a short-term agenda item in Congress. In any case, the government coalition must first resolve political tensions.
