On July 17th, the National Securities Commission (CNV) issued a report on the status of the Capital Markets in Argentina which shows that total financing for June amounted to AR$ 39,074,000. This figure shows that there has been a year-on-year growth (compared with June 2018) of 550 percent and an increase of 65 percent over May 2019.

The report also details that in the first semester of 2019, there was an increase in the negotiated amounts of Deferred Payment Checks of 207 percent and in promissory notes of 150 percent. While for the financial trusts the growth was 2 percent.

One of the highlights of the document reveals that total financing in the capital market in the first half of the year exceeded 135 million pesos.
