On September 12th, The Superintendence of Banking, Insurance and Private Administrators of Pension Funds published the Resolution SBS Nº 3375-2018, where it approved the issuance of the Third Program of Negotiable Bonds and Certificates of Deposit of Citibank Peru. The maximum amount allowed for the issuance is 200 million dollars.

The resolution establishes that the regulations will be in effect for one year. With this resolution Citibank will be able to “start its programme called Third Program of Negotiable Bonds and Certificates of Deposit of Citibank of Peru S.A”. This will also allow Citibank to issue negotiable bonds when it considers it appropriate, up to the established limit.

The measure was taken at the session held on June 27th 2018, in which it was observed that the Bank complied with the requirements demanded by the procedure of “Favorable Opinion on Series Issuance of Financial Instruments for Companies in the Financial and Insurance System”.
