The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank reduced its monetary policy rate by 0.75 points this afternoon. The reduction complements the one announced on January 9. In this way, the rate will be reduced to 27.25 percent.

In turn, the monetary entity chaired by Federico Sturzenegger reported that “the Central Bank will carry out its monetary policy to reach its intermediate target of 15 percent in 2018.”
