The Vice President of the Health Rights Committee, governing party deputy Jorge Yunda (Alianza PAÍS), recommended that an entity be created to determine and update the types of medications to be supplied to the citizenry through virtual pharmacies.

The legislator’s proposal is framed within the review of the Health Code bill, a measure that integrates approximately 45 laws and regulates all individuals and legal entities, as well as public, autonomous, private, and community agencies within the health field. The measure was analyzed by experts and stakeholders through various and ongoing roundtables conducted by the Committee in recent months. The leaders of the National Assembly estimate that the bill of law will be passed in February 2018.
